Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are very excited to be opening a new site in Cle Elum/Roslyn this summer. We will open on Monday, June 17th!
The Club will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Each week during the summer will be a different theme with art, STEM, and many activities throughout the day. We have great Youth Development Professionals (YDPs), that will be working with our members every day. They will have been cross-trained with their counterparts in Moses Lake and Kittitas.
Check In and Check Out:
We will be signing your member in and out of Club every day.
***Until all staff get to know & recognize you, we ask that you bring your ID to check your students out of the Club at the Portable.***
Meeting Place:
Drop off will be at the high school for our summer program, because of the construction that is taking place at the elementary.
Breakfast/Lunch/Snack:
Each day your student will be given breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

What is the Boys & Girls Club?
Throughout our 160+ year history, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has enabled young people most in need to achieve great futures as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Today, more than 5,000 Club locations serve 3.6 million young people through Club membership and community outreach. Clubs are located in cities, towns, public housing and on Native lands throughout the country, and serve military families in BGCA-affiliated Youth Centers on U.S. military installations worldwide. None currently exist in Central Washington.
Clubs provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours. Club programs promote academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. In a Harris Survey of alumni, 54 percent said the Club saved their lives. What is the Mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin?
Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Where will the Boys & Girls Club of Kittitas County be held?
The first school-based site will be held in the modulars at Kittitas Elementary. The second site will be held in Cle Elum on the campus of the Cle Elum/Roslyn school. The summer program for Cle Elum will be held in the High School cafeteria.
How is the Boys & Girls Club of the Columbia Basin funded?
The Club is supported through grants, county, private and corporate donations. In addition, private fundraising events are also held throughout the year supporting the Boys & Girls Club of the Columbia Basin in Kittitas County.
Will the funds raised in the County stay in Kittitas County?
Yes. Funds raised in Kittitas County will stay local to support the Boys & Girls Club of the Columbia Basin’s Kittitas County branch.
Can donations be made at any time of the year?
Yes. Donations will be accepted any time during the year. Donations can be made at Umpqua Bank of Ellensburg.
What is the cost for a child to attend the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin?
Summer Camp Program Fees:
New Member Registration Fee: $25/single child or $40/family (Waived if members have Apple
Health Care)
Daily Fee: $25 per member (breakfast, lunch & snack included)
After-School Program Fees:
Single Child (5 component super-snack included)
Registration Fee: $25.00 (Waived if members have Apple Health Care)
Monthly Activity Fee: $15.00
Families of 2+ (5 component super-snack included)
Registration Fee: $40.00 (Waived if members have Apple Health Care)
Monthly Activity Fee: $25.00

Will the Boys & Girls Club be available during school breaks?
When school is closed, so are we! The Club is open for Summer Camp programming, but is closed over winter break, weekends and federal holidays. The Club is open during early-release days. Parents & Guardians will receive alerts & reminders prior to closure dates.
What age group does the Boys & Girls Club of the Columbia Basin serve?
The Boys & Girls Club serves members K-5 at our Kittitas County Clubs currently. Summer programming is open for those who have completed Kindergarten – incoming 5th graders.

SUMMER WORK OPPORTUNITY!
The Boys & Girls Clubs is looking for a candidate who enjoys working with youth that would want to be part of our Youth Development Staff sub-pool. This opportunity is perfect for candidates who require or prefer a flexible schedule, have limited availability, or are considering a career in childhood education. Must be 18 years or older. Bilingual is preferred.
