Dear Cle Elum-Roslyn Students, Staff, Parents, and Community Members,
I wanted to take a moment on behalf of myself and the Cle Elum-Roslyn School Board to express gratitude and my sincere appreciation for this school community. Every day, I am thankful I have this opportunity to live and serve in this amazing community as your Superintendent.
This past month, I have seen so many examples of what makes this place special. From the amazing turnout for our Veterans Day assembly, to the number of parents/community members actively volunteering at events, to watching our first responders serve a holiday meal to students or drive them through the bus lane on their way to State....To say I have been impressed is an understatement.
Walking through the hallways today, I was impressed with the level of dedication our staff demonstrates. They work hard to meet the needs of each and every student and we are grateful you extend your trust in us each day. Like many small Districts, adequate resources are always a challenge, but in Cle Elum-Roslyn we are rich in a sense of togetherness, a sense of belonging and passion to see our kids succeed. During this holiday season when many of us pause to reflect, I am profoundly moved by the level of care for one another that I have seen in this community.
The Cle Elum-Roslyn School Board and I would like to wish you Happy Holidays and a terrific Thanksgiving. Thank you for all your support.
Be Well.
John Belcher
Superintendent
Cle Elum-Roslyn School District
