Title IX Compliance Coordinator: Addresses questions or concerns about sexual discrimination or sexual harassment.
There have recent changes to the Title IX regulations that have taken effect in 2024, replacing the 2020 regulations. These updates are designed to further strengthen our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students and staff.
Key changes include:
Expanded Protections: The 2024 regulations broaden the definition of sex-based discrimination to include protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and pregnancy.
Enhanced Support for Victims: The new regulations emphasize providing more robust support services for those who experience harassment or discrimination, ensuring timely and fair responses.
Streamlined Procedures: Updated procedures now offer a more transparent and efficient process for handling complaints, including clearer guidelines for investigation and resolution.
Our school is committed to implementing these changes promptly and effectively to ensure a safe and equitable environment for everyone. We encourage all members of our community to stay informed and reach out with any questions or concerns.
